Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment
  • understanding of how to prepare and present various food types and cooking styles
  • ability to master culinary techniques, timing, and presentation while maintaining consistency
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong recipe reading skills to follow recipes precisely
  • attention to detail to ensure exceptional food experiences

Job Duties

  • Execute menu items with precision and consistency, maintaining high standards for taste, quality, and presentation
  • manage your station during service, coordinating timing with other line cooks to ensure smooth service flow to the main restaurant
  • follow recipes for each dish exactly while applying advanced culinary techniques
  • collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure experiences that exceed our guests expectations
  • communicate with your fellow cooks, dishwashers, food runners and leadership throughout your shift and on the line to ensure everyone is on the same page and working together
  • spend up to 16 hours per year volunteering (paid) for MadTree Impact initiatives with excitement, encouraging your teammates to do the same
