Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment
- understanding of how to prepare and present various food types and cooking styles
- ability to master culinary techniques, timing, and presentation while maintaining consistency
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong recipe reading skills to follow recipes precisely
- attention to detail to ensure exceptional food experiences
Job Duties
- Execute menu items with precision and consistency, maintaining high standards for taste, quality, and presentation
- manage your station during service, coordinating timing with other line cooks to ensure smooth service flow to the main restaurant
- follow recipes for each dish exactly while applying advanced culinary techniques
- collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure experiences that exceed our guests expectations
- communicate with your fellow cooks, dishwashers, food runners and leadership throughout your shift and on the line to ensure everyone is on the same page and working together
- spend up to 16 hours per year volunteering (paid) for MadTree Impact initiatives with excitement, encouraging your teammates to do the same
