As a Line Cook with SSP America at the Indianapolis Airport, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of the kitchen and the overall dining experience. Job Duties

  • Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
  • Requisition and stock all required food, paper products, and condiments
  • Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
  • Perform set-up, regular maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of machinery and equipment
  • Maintain stock, cutting, and storage of perishables daily to ensure product quality
  • Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required
  • Take responsibility for quality of products served
  • Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned
