Job Duties

  • Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards
  • Start food items prepared ahead of time without over preparing
  • Date and rotate food containers following Crescent standards
  • Maintain proper temperature for perishables
  • Check pars for shift use and determine necessary preparation and line setup
  • Assist in stocking buffet and returning unused food to designated storage
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill
  • Comply with attendance rules and perform additional job-related duties as assigned
