Job Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Open availability
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check
- Active California Food Handlers Certificate/Card required for this position
- Must be able to lift and carry tools, supplies, and inventory up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to walk, stand, and bend at neck for 3 or more hours a day
- Position will require repetitive use of hands for simple and power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling and reaching for entire shift
- Position may require exposure to excessive noise, exposure to dust, gas, flames, chemicals, exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or wetness
- Must be able to perform all essential duties with or without accommodation

Job Duties
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with appropriate recipes and presentation on a consistent basis
- Provide consistent safe and sanitary food storage, preparation, and cooking
- Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
- Recognize and follow quality standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, and grains, including proper storage
- Effectively utilize leftovers and control waste
- Be flexible and able to take direction
- Work with others as a team player in a small confined space
