Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation preferred but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • Good physical stamina to meet job demands
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to write and read English
  • Good communication skills and friendly demeanor
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, and able to multitask
  • Possesses basic math skills
  • Ability to stand for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs during shift
  • Able to hold items like knives and pans for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepares a variety of food with diverse methods according to Primanti Bros. recipes
  • Prepares all food items required on prep list and labels them according to shelf life chart
  • Completes assigned prep work to stock and set up stations
  • Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Follows proper HACCP temperature procedures and temps product when required
  • Uses waste log and cooldown charts appropriately
  • Prepares orders in a timely manner and communicates ticket times and issues
  • Ensures proper rotation of products and stocks product to par
  • Maintains favorable working relationships with team members to promote a cooperative climate
  • Helps team stay caught up with dishes in the dish area
  • Completes opening, shift change, and closing checklists and cleaning tasks
  • Performs other duties as requested by coach
