Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- Good physical stamina to meet job demands
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
Job Qualifications
- Ability to write and read English
- Good communication skills and friendly demeanor
- Enthusiastic, dependable, courteous, and able to multitask
- Possesses basic math skills
- Ability to stand for entire shifts
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs during shift
- Able to hold items like knives and pans for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prepares a variety of food with diverse methods according to Primanti Bros. recipes
- Prepares all food items required on prep list and labels them according to shelf life chart
- Completes assigned prep work to stock and set up stations
- Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Follows proper HACCP temperature procedures and temps product when required
- Uses waste log and cooldown charts appropriately
- Prepares orders in a timely manner and communicates ticket times and issues
- Ensures proper rotation of products and stocks product to par
- Maintains favorable working relationships with team members to promote a cooperative climate
- Helps team stay caught up with dishes in the dish area
- Completes opening, shift change, and closing checklists and cleaning tasks
- Performs other duties as requested by coach
