- successful completion of hourly position validations, including company-required training such as safety, systems, menu
Job Duties
- Read food orders or receive verbal instructions on food required by guests and prepare and cook food according to instructions
- provide the highest quality of service to customers
- follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs
- operate kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut and shred fruits and vegetables, and trim and cut meat, poultry or fish
- clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
- obtain required food handler certification
- assemble, maintain and break down the dish machine by following proper cleaning schedule
- follow proper plating and presentation procedures
- maintain a hygienic appearance adhering to company and regulatory standards
