  • at least one year of cooking experience
  • excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team

  • successful completion of hourly position validations, including company-required training such as safety, systems, menu

Job Duties

  • Read food orders or receive verbal instructions on food required by guests and prepare and cook food according to instructions
  • provide the highest quality of service to customers
  • follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs
  • operate kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut and shred fruits and vegetables, and trim and cut meat, poultry or fish
  • clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • obtain required food handler certification
  • assemble, maintain and break down the dish machine by following proper cleaning schedule
  • follow proper plating and presentation procedures
  • maintain a hygienic appearance adhering to company and regulatory standards
