Raintree Golf and Event Center is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join their culinary team. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service. The Line Cook will play a critical role in assisting the Chef/Kitchen Manager in preparing a variety of dishes for all food outlets on the property, ensuring adherence to established food safety and sanitation guidelines. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience, reflecting the center’s commitment to rewarding talent and expertise.

The Line Cook is responsible for maintaining the quality and consistency of all food products served, contributing to the overall guest experience through attention to detail and culinary skill. This role encompasses not only food preparation but also involves tasks such as inventory management, equipment maintenance, and sanitation practices, all crucial to the smooth operation of the kitchen. Candidates must be prepared to work under the direction of the Chef/Kitchen Manager while collaborating effectively with team members to meet the demands of a busy kitchen environment.   • 1-2 years of cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of cooking experience
  • Minimum education: High School (or equivalent) diploma
  • Experience in managing and upholding safe working conditions
  • Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Must be dependable
  • Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to take direction

Job Duties

  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Assists Chef/Kitchen Manager with set-up and preparation of food items for all food outlets on the property
  • Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing all assigned items
  • Assists the Chef/Kitchen Manager with conducting monthly food and supplies inventory
  • Understands how to properly use and maintain equipment
  • Performs necessary clean-up and sanitation maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Chef/Kitchen Manager
  • Helps distribute food and supplies throughout the food outlets
