Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated 2 years of full service restaurant cooking experience
  • breakfast or egg cooking experience
  • comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen environment
  • ability to stay calm under pressure
  • strong knife skills
  • ability to follow written recipes and order tickets
  • excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
  • understanding cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • accuracy and speed in executing tasks
  • knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • working cleanly during shift and closing
  • ServSafe certification a plus
  • ability to stand for 8 or more hours
  • ability to regularly lift 40 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years full service restaurant cooking experience
  • experience with breakfast and egg dishes preferred
  • strong knife skills
  • ability to follow written recipes and order tickets
  • outstanding verbal communication and organizational skills
  • understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • knowledge of culinary trends
  • ability to maintain cleanliness throughout shift
  • ServSafe food handling certification is a plus
  • ability to work standing for 8+ hours
  • ability to lift 40 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • Prepare dishes ensuring presentation and quality
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen line
  • use freshest ingredients for all recipes
  • follow health and safety policies including food rotation and proper labeling
  • work efficiently in a fast-paced, high volume kitchen
  • collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operation
  • communicate clearly and effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
