Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong attention to detail
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- solid understanding of basic cooking techniques
- proficiency in knife skills
- knowledge of sanitation standards and safe food handling practices
- ability to follow directions and stay organized under pressure
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- prior experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
Job Duties
- prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and presentation guidelines
- set up and stock the station before service
- prepare ingredients for daily use
- monitor product levels throughout the shift
- communicate effectively with chefs and kitchen staff
- assist with prep work, proper food storage, rotation, and labeling
- clean and break down the station at the end of each shift
