Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to work late nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Physical stamina to withstand high temperatures in the kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of different cooking techniques and food preparation methods
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Formal culinary education or relevant certifications are a plus
  • Valid Food Handlers Certification
  • Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Set up and stock assigned line station with necessary supplies and ingredients before each shift
  • Utilize various cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, frying, broiling, and baking
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the menu, including ingredients, portion sizes, and presentation standards
  • Adhere to proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of food orders to meet guest expectations and reduce wait times
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and maintain smooth operations
  • Inspect food items for quality and freshness and address any issues promptly
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report shortages or replenishment needs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area including equipment, utensils, and storage areas
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
