We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The Line Cook will play a critical role in maintaining the kitchen's daily operations by preparing and cooking food items according to established recipes and ensuring all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and consistency. This role demands a professional who is skilled in various cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, frying, broiling, and baking. You will be responsible for setting up and stocking your station before each shift, working closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the work area.
In this position, you will also be expected to uphold rigorous food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe and clean environment for both staff and guests. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting, and excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among team members. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, assisting with quality control by inspecting food items for freshness, and addressing any discrepancies rapidly to maintain menu quality.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role, knowledge of various cooking methods, and familiarity with food safety regulations. While formal culinary education is a plus, it is not mandatory. Candidates must possess a valid Food Handlers Certification and demonstrate physical stamina capable of handling long hours on their feet and the ability to lift heavy kitchen equipment up to 50 pounds.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to work late nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have a valid Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Physical stamina to withstand high temperatures in the kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different cooking techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills

- Formal culinary education or relevant certifications are a plus
- Valid Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant POS such as Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock assigned line station with necessary supplies and ingredients before each shift
- Utilize various cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, frying, broiling, and baking
- Maintain a deep understanding of the menu, including ingredients, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Adhere to proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of food orders to meet guest expectations and reduce wait times
- Collaborate closely with kitchen team to coordinate food preparation and maintain smooth operations
- Inspect food items for quality and freshness and address any issues promptly
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report shortages or replenishment needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including equipment, utensils, and storage areas
- Perform other related duties as assigned
