The position of Line Cook III at Maui Brewing Co. Kailua plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of food preparation and kitchen operations. This role is available for full-time or part-time employment, offering a competitive pay rate of $20 to $21 per hour plus tips. Team members also benefit from a service fee that adds an additional $1 to $3 per hour to their paycheck, resulting in an average total hourly rate of $21 to $24 including tips. Additional perks include early access to wages via DailyPay, a $500 hiring bonus, employee discounts, and comprehensive medical, vision, and dental insurance for qualifying employees.

As a Line Cook III, you will be responsible for working your designated station and preparing menu items to Maui Brewing Co.'s exacting standards. You will follow prep lists and recipes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is essential, as is adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to guarantee a safe dining experience for guests. Teamwork is highly valued, so effective communication and collaboration with fellow kitchen staff and chefs is crucial. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of prep experience and at least 1 year of line cook experience
  • Experience with at least one cooking station (Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, Pizza)
  • Open availability preferably including nights and weekends
  • Ability to follow health and safety standards such as wearing cut gloves and non-slip shoes
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to work as scheduled and learn multiple stations
  • TB clearance required for employment in the State of Hawaii

Job Qualifications

  • 6 months of prep experience and at least 1 year of line cook experience
  • Experience with at least one of the following stations (Fry, Oven, Grill, Saute, Pantry, Pizza)
  • Open availability (preferably nights and weekends)
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ability to follow direction
  • Follows health and safety standards (cut gloves, non-slip shoes, etc.)
  • Reliable and able to work scheduled shifts
