Job Requirements
- Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it
- Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts
- Requires strong organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- At least 21 years of age
- Have a desire to exceed expectations
- An energetic personality
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- Desire to learn and develop culinary skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of various cooking methods including grilling, sautéing, and frying
- Active Food handler’s certification or ability to obtain it
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Energetic personality with a strong desire to exceed expectations
Job Duties
- Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods such as grill, sauté and fry
- Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
- Recreate and follow recipes consistently
- Maintain consistency in all food preparation
- Minimize food waste through cross utilization
- Work collaboratively with culinary leadership and kitchen staff
- Prepare ingredients including chopping, peeling, and cutting meat
- Maintain a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
- Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients
- Be responsible for the quality of ingredients
- Create workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
