We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our energetic kitchen staff at Macquarie in New York, NY, under the Constellation brand segment. This is a full-time position with a competitive compensation range of $23-$25 per hour. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about high-quality meal preparation and who thrive in fast-paced culinary environments. As a Line Cook, you will primarily focus on sandwich production for daily lunch services, catering to both the cafe and catering needs of the establishment. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Catering Sous Chef as needed, ensuring strict adherence to quality and portion control, and performing precise food preparation while maintaining a creative approach to food presentation.

The position demands strict compliance with food safety handling policies, proper food storage, and meticulous maintenance of the kitchen environment. Candidates must have at least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with an emphasis on scratch cooking, solid deli production knowledge, and familiarity with proper culinary methods and standards. This role also requires excellent multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various kitchen equipment and tools safely. Customer service experience is essential, as the role often involves direct interaction with customers.
