Acts Retirement-Life Communities is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Line Cook to join their culinary team. This full-time position offers shifts during the day and evening hours. The role is essential to the success of Acts' brand, culinary culture, vision, and future growth. The culinary philosophy centers on scratch kitchens where fresh and healthy options are balanced with indulgent selections. The service approach takes guests on a seasonal and trend-conscious journey, reflecting both the needs and wants of residents.
This position offers next day pay through the PayActiv benefit, allowing employees to receive payment quickly. Additionally, as part of the onboarding process, new hires will have the opportunity to advance their culinary career via a partnership with Rouxbe Online Culinary School. This unique collaboration includes comprehensive courses that provide nine transferable college credit hours upon completion, setting team members on a path for long-term career success.
Candidates for the Line Cook position should have a high school diploma or equivalent and ideally possess a minimum of two years of progressive experience in environments such as full-service restaurants, catering, healthcare, country clubs, hotels, or cruise lines. The role involves working in a dynamic team environment where culinary passion and quality service are paramount.
