This is a part-time position, classified as non-exempt with an hourly pay rate of $24. The Line Cook at Stonebridge is a pivotal role responsible for food preparation and cooking according to established hotel standards and food safety regulations. Operating within various dining services such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and room service, the Line Cook ensures consistent quality and presentation of food items. This position requires strong culinary skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Line Cook prepares all necessary ingredients before service, manages cooking stations safely, produces high-quality pantry items, sandwiches, salads, and desserts, and maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards. The role involves following recipes and instructions from the Executive Chef or supervisor to guarantee food consistency across all services.

Candidates are expected to have an Associate’s degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience and training, along with Safe Serve/Food Handler certification. Experience in high-paced kitchens is essential, alongside proficiency in food preparation methods and cooking metrics. The Line Cook must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. The work environment involves exposure to various temperatures, cleaning chemicals, and long working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, necessitating flexibility and stamina.
