Job Description

We are currently seeking skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary team. This role involves assisting the Chef and Kitchen Manager in preparing food items for all food outlets within the property. The Line Cook position demands a detail-oriented individual who can adhere strictly to food safety guidelines and procedural instructions provided by the Food Service and Safety Department. Responsibilities include following standard recipes accurately, assisting with food preparation setup, maintaining kitchen sanitation, and supporting inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have prior cooking experience, demonstrate reliability, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment. The position requires physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and lifting, with a strong emphasis on maintaining cleanliness and food safety at all times. This is a full-time role that offers opportunities for professional growth in the culinary field within a vibrant hotel or hospitality setting. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of cooking experience preferred
  • knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to follow directions and work in a team

  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of cooking experience preferred
  • minimum education: high school (or equivalent) diploma
  • experience in managing and upholding a safe working condition
  • understanding the knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
  • must be dependable
  • must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • must be able to work in a team environment
  • must be able to take direction

Job Duties

  • Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
  • Assists Chef/Kitchen Manager with set-up and preparation of food items for all food outlets on the property
  • Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing all assigned items
  • Assists the Chef/Kitchen Manager with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventory
  • Understands how to properly use and maintain the equipment
  • Performs necessary clean-up and sanitation maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Chef/Kitchen Manager
  • Helps distribute food and supplies throughout the food outlets
