As a line cook with us, you will play a crucial role in the preparation, presentation, and execution of all menu items. This role demands not only culinary expertise but also an ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting where maintaining composure under pressure is key. You will become intimately familiar with your prep work, managing your station with precision and care. Additionally, your responsibilities will include performing closing duties efficiently and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout your shift. Collaboration with other members of the back-of-house (BOH) team is essential, as seamless teamwork contributes to the overall success of the service. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a kitchen environment
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • food handler's certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong multitasking and time management skills
  • teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • effectively cook and present all items on the menu in a timely manner
  • complete assigned prep list
  • efficiently run your station during the shift
  • stock food as needed
  • exercise good safety, sanitation and organizational skills
  • collaborate with all members of the BOH staff
