- previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
- knowledge of kitchen safety standards
- ability to stand for long periods and work under pressure
- good communication skills

Job Duties
- produce food items on the dinner menus
- ensure that guests are always receiving an exceptional dining experience representing true value for money
- communicate effectively with the FOH staff when issues arise either from their end or yours and find the quickest solution to the problem
- ensure that all food items are prepared as per recipes while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste
- ensure that product is of sufficient quantity and quality
- maintain a clean uniform and always be presentable in guest view
- ensure that all food preparation equipment is being used safely and correctly and that it is cleaned and maintained
- ensure that a consistent, high quality product is achieved and maintained on all stations
- ensure that all areas of the kitchen are kept clean and sanitized
- communicate with delivery drivers about handling and quality of products as they arrive
