The Line Cook position at Andy B's is a critical role within the kitchen brigade. It involves preparing and plating menu items in strict accordance with company recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency and quality. Line cooks are responsible for conducting essential opening and closing duties, maintaining a well-stocked and organized kitchen, and adhering to stringent food safety protocols, including proper labeling, dating, initialing, and rotating of food items. They must skillfully operate and care for kitchen equipment, ensuring all appliances are functional and safe to use. The role requires a genuine passion for food, a desire to deliver the best dining experience possible, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced, often high-pressure environment. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • minimum of 6 months cooking experience preferred
  • knowledge of dietary constraints and food allergies preferred
  • ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally to 50 lbs
  • ability to frequently work in temperatures up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
  • friendly, outgoing personality and a get-it-done attitude
  • excellent organization and time management skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, loud environment
  • successful completion of food handling certification required by local and state governments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months cooking experience preferred

Job Duties
