P.F. Chang's is currently hiring full-time and part-time Line Cooks, Wok Cooks, Cooks, Chef De Parties, or Station Chefs to join their team. The role of a Line Cook or Station Chef at P.F. Chang's is vital in maintaining the restaurant's high standards of food preparation and safety. Candidates will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to company recipes, plating dishes under the guidance of the chef, and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and safely. This includes setup, operation, breakdown, and cleaning of kitchen equipment, washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing utensils, and upholding strict sanitation and food safety standards. The fast-paced team environment requires individuals who can multi-task with ease and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
P.F. Chang's values individuals who have a passion for food and an eye for detail in cooking, including knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes. Although previous experience is not required as comprehensive training is provided, candidates must have or be willing to obtain a valid Food Handler's Card where applicable. The position also demands flexibility to work various shifts and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and frequently bend, reach, and twist. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. Job Duties
- Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
- Plates prepared foods based on chef’s guidance
- Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
- May need to assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils, etc.
- Uphold our high restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
