Job Requirements

  • Food service experience within a dining environment required
  • Experience in a healthcare facility preferred
  • Ability to work the PM shift hours of 10:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.
  • Available to work every other weekend
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation guidelines
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in food service within a dining environment
  • Knowledge of proper food sanitation and safety standards
  • Ability to follow dietary guidelines accurately
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Prior experience acting in a supervisory role during shifts
  • Familiarity with healthcare dietary needs preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve meals according to menus prepared by the Dietary Manager and Head Cook
  • Act as Head Cook for certain shifts every pay period
  • Adhere to prescribed diets of the residents or dietary requests from management
  • Ensure food is prepared, served and stored using proper sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and timeliness of meal service
