Job Requirements
- Food service experience within a dining environment required
- Experience in a healthcare facility preferred
- Ability to work the PM shift hours of 10:00 A.M. to 6:30 P.M.
- Available to work every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation guidelines
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food service within a dining environment
- Knowledge of proper food sanitation and safety standards
- Ability to follow dietary guidelines accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience acting in a supervisory role during shifts
- Familiarity with healthcare dietary needs preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve meals according to menus prepared by the Dietary Manager and Head Cook
- Act as Head Cook for certain shifts every pay period
- Adhere to prescribed diets of the residents or dietary requests from management
- Ensure food is prepared, served and stored using proper sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and timeliness of meal service
