Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar role
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to take ownership and work independently
Job Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or line cook experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented attitude
- Culinary training or certification preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Prep mise en place before every service fully stocked, fully ready, zero excuses
- Execute all recipes to spec with right portion, right temperature, right presentation every time
- Communicate with expo and fellow cooks clearly and calmly during service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards including FIFO, temperature logs, clean station
- Break down station completely and clean thoroughly at the end of every shift
- Flag low inventory before it becomes a problem
- Cross-train on every station in your section to ensure versatility
- Support prep cooks and contribute to team prep during slower periods
