We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is a vital role responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the club's exacting standards. The position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen that supports various dining venues, including the restaurant, banquets, tournaments, and special events. As a Line Cook, you will be integral to the smooth operation of kitchen services, ensuring that food preparation, presentation, and sanitation are maintained at the highest levels. This role demands passion for food preparation, ability to work collaboratively within a team, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. The position is full-time and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during special club events. ServSafe certification is required for this role.

The Line Cook will be responsible for following established recipes and presentation standards, preparing ingredients, and maintaining an organized workstation. You will assist with the preparation needed for large-scale events and ensure compliance with proper food handling and storage protocols. The ability to handle physical demands such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working efficiently in a bustling kitchen environment is essential. Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
  • assist with food preparation including chopping, portioning, and ingredient preparation
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned workstation
  • ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed
  • assist with preparation for banquets, events, and high-volume service periods
  • maintain proper labeling and rotation of food items (FIFO - First In, First Out)
  • work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
  • assist with kitchen opening and closing procedures
