Job Description

Cooper's Hawk is a premier hospitality company that masterfully combines a Napa-style tasting room with an inviting wine-inspired retail experience, a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event spaces. The company offers a modern yet casual dining atmosphere, where every dish is crafted to complement their award-winning wines. Established in 2005, Cooper's Hawk has grown to become a leader in providing exceptional culinary and wine experiences through its extensive Wine Club, known as one of the largest in the world. This club not only delivers top-tier wines but also exclusive benefits such as curated dining and travel experiences for its members. Cooper's Hawk has also expanded its offerings with Piccolo Buco by Cooper’s Hawk, bringing vibrant Roman flavors to its customers, further diversifying the brand and enhancing its lifestyle appeal.

The Line Cook role at Cooper’s Hawk is a unique opportunity for culinary professionals who are passionate about creating unforgettable dining experiences. This position goes beyond simply following recipes; it requires precision, urgency, and pride in every task to transform high culinary standards into memorable plates that leave a lasting impression on guests. As a Line Cook, you are a critical part of a dynamic kitchen team where culinary skill and personal connection meet. You will be responsible for setting up your station efficiently, following recipes accurately while controlling portions and presentation, and managing multiple dishes simultaneously using the kitchen display system. The job demands a proactive attitude where you take ownership of your work area by maintaining cleanliness, stock, and safety, stepping in to support your teammates as needed, and ensuring seamless coordination to keep service flowing smoothly during busy shifts.

Working at Cooper’s Hawk means being part of a team that values communication, teamwork, and genuine care for the craft of cooking—even though you may not always meet the guest directly. The role involves not only cooking but also adding those little extra touches that enhance the overall dining experience, such as maintaining equipment cleanliness and organizing storage areas. The environment is fast-paced and requires a team-first mindset with a passion for high-quality food, where multitasking and organizational skills are crucial for success.

Moreover, Cooper’s Hawk supports its team members with comprehensive benefits that emphasize their wellbeing and professional growth. Employees enjoy significant dining and retail discounts, monthly wine tastings, educational opportunities in wine and culinary arts, and wellness and mental health support. The company also offers medical, dental, vision, and telehealth coverage, a 401k plan with a company match, paid time off, flexible schedules, early pay access, and various rewards programs including milestone recognitions and referral bonuses. This role is ideal for culinary professionals who are eager to grow their careers within a supportive company culture that embraces a lifestyle brand centered on quality food, wine, and memorable experiences.
