As a respected leader in senior living, Monarch Landing fosters a supportive and engaging environment that prioritizes the well-being and happiness of its residents. With a team driven by purpose and dedication, Monarch Landing has built a reputation for delivering compassionate service and ensuring a high quality of life for those they serve. The community is conveniently situated near major routes including Route 59 and Interstate 88, offering ease of access for employees, residents, and visitors alike.

Currently, Monarch Landing is seeking a motivated and skilled cook to join their culinary team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $20 per hour and appealing work hours, with no late shifts required. The work schedule aligns with the community's operational hours: Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 8 PM and Sundays from 6 AM to 3 PM, including rotating weekends. Candidates must be willing to undergo background screening prior to employment. The role involves preparing and cooking various menu items to meet the high standards of the community's dining services, particularly within a healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living setting. The cook will be responsible for food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces, working collaboratively with the kitchen staff to ensure food is served simultaneously, timely, and of excellent quality.

Monarch Landing values team members who demonstrate proven cooking experience along with comprehensive knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food safety procedures. This is an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals who want to be part of a welcoming and fun work environment that recognizes and appreciates employee contributions. Monarch Landing supports its employees with a host of benefits starting on the first of the month following the date of hire, including medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance, employer-paid life and long-term disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Joining Monarch Landing means becoming part of a vibrant team in a respected community that values its employees and fosters professional growth and personal fulfillment. The employee appreciation programs, discounted meals, parking availability, and close-knit work environment are just some of the reasons why Monarch Landing is a preferred employer in the Naperville area.
