Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- ability to move about the facility and stand for long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to walk or stand 100 percent of the shift
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required
- ability to communicate clearly with team members
- disciplined and self-motivated
- friendly with a positive attitude
- able to work flexible hours including days, nights, and weekends
- at least 18 years of age
- familiarity with basic food safety procedures
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through quality food preparation and presentation
- keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action
- adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- safely operate all kitchen equipment
- use chemicals properly for safety and cost control
- ensure products are stored correctly in appropriate locations and levels
- prepare and sell food meeting quality indicators and guest expectations
- sell food within recommended time frames
- prepare and cook all food items by recipe and specification
- control costs by following prep sheets to ensure freshness and minimize waste
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas
- maintain station cleanliness and sanitation
- clean and maintain kitchen mats, floors, walls, and drains
- empty kitchen trash and maintain trash cans
- assist other team members as needed
- maintain favorable working relationships with all company team members to foster cooperation and morale
- demonstrate friendliness and smile while working days, nights, or weekends
- communicate clearly with other team members
- dress in accordance with guidelines, neat, clean, and professional
- participate in cleaning and maintenance tasks
