The Line Cook position at Ojos Locos Sports Cantina is a critical role responsible for preparing top-notch menu items in alignment with the restaurant’s carefully crafted recipes and operational standards. The successful candidate will perform under the vigilant guidance of the Kitchen Manager and kitchen leadership to guarantee meals are delivered accurately and promptly. This role demands good communication skills for effective collaboration with other kitchen team members and management. The Line Cook must ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen meets Ojos Locos’ high specifications for taste, presentation, and portion size, while maintaining a clean and sanitized work area at all times. This role is designed for individuals passionate about working in a fast-paced culinary environment, who have a keen eye for detail and can uphold the restaurant’s quality and safety standards consistently. Being well-versed in food handling regulations and sanitation protocols is essential to prevent contamination and promote health and safety within the kitchen. The Line Cook is also expected to assist other kitchen stations and perform side work effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations across shifts. Job Duties

  • Communicates with Kitchen Manager or management team on any food related issues
  • Well versed in preparing food items while constantly adhering to recipe standards
  • Works directly with team members to ensure all guest requests are accommodated
  • Follow recipes

  • Proper food handling and sanitation of work areas

  • Supports other stations and areas of the HOH as needed
  • Maintains neat and organized work areas
  • Accomplished all opening, running and end of shift side work
