As a Line Cook at Outback Steakhouse, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, passionately preparing, portioning, and cooking food items according to established quality specifications. This role requires a dedicated commitment to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness to ensure a safe dining experience for guests. You will be responsible for following all recipe and food handling guidelines precisely, using the proper tools and safety equipment. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen or food preparation role

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work

Job Duties

  • As line cook, you are responsible for the preparation, presentation and execution of all items on the menu
  • The kitchen isn't the only thing that heats up—in this fast paced environment, you'll be expected to maintain poise under pressure
  • You'll know your prep work like the back of your hand, and your closing duties won't even bother you
