Cooper’s Hawk reviews several factors when establishing compensation

Job Description

Cooper's Hawk is a distinctive dining and lifestyle brand that blends a Napa-style tasting room with a wine-inspired retail experience alongside a full-service restaurant, bar, and private event space. Known for its modern-yet-casual ambiance, Cooper's Hawk offers guests an opportunity to indulge in a scratch-kitchen menu where each dish is thoughtfully crafted to complement their award-winning wines. Since its inception in 2005, the company has expanded its footprint not only by delivering exceptional culinary experiences but also by building one of the largest wine clubs in the world. This Wine Club offers members exclusive access to curated dining, travel experiences, and unique wine selections, establishing strong community ties and a passionate customer base. Additionally, Cooper's Hawk has extended its culinary reach with Piccolo Buco by Cooper's Hawk, offering guests the vibrant flavors of Rome, which enriches its diverse and dynamic portfolio.

As a Line Cook at Cooper's Hawk, you will play a vital role beyond merely following recipes. This position is about crafting unforgettable culinary experiences with precision, urgency, and pride, turning high standards into extraordinary plates for every guest. The role demands a harmonious blend of culinary skill and personal connection, where every dish served has the potential to create lasting memories. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Working here means becoming part of a team that values your growth and well-being, offering an array of benefits like medical and dental coverage, 401k with company match, paid time off, wellness support, and opportunities for culinary and wine education.

Your daily responsibilities will involve preparing your station prior to shifts, maintaining cleanliness and stock throughout service, and using the Kitchen Display System (KDS) to manage cooking times and multitask multiple dishes efficiently. Teamwork is crucial to ensure seamless communication and timing during service, supporting one another to maintain smooth operations. Taking ownership of your area, demonstrating a team-first attitude, and delivering consistently high-quality food are foundational to success in this position. Additionally, your role extends to creating a positive dining experience with attention to detail, care for presentation, and an earnest approach to every plate, even when not directly interacting with guests. Working at Cooper's Hawk means contributing to a passionate team dedicated to crafting memorable moments through food and wine, within an inclusive and supportive environment that respects diversity and provides reasonable accommodations as necessary.
