Job Description

PILF Restaurant Group is a dynamic, people-powered, pizza-loving restaurant group headquartered in Texas. Known for operating multiple unique and beloved brands such as Cane Rosso, Zoli's NY Pizza, Thunderbird Pies, Cow Tipping Creamery, and more, the group has cultivated a reputation for exceptional food, vibrant culture, and community-centered hospitality. At PILF, the philosophy centers around teamwork, accountability, growth, and authentic service, which forms the foundation of their fast-paced and high-energy kitchen environments.

Being part of PILF means joining a company that values its employees just as much as its food. PILF Restaurant Group is more than just a place to work; it’s a place to grow your culinary career while being part of a team that takes pride in what they create. They invest in their kitchen teams by promoting from within and offering meaningful growth opportunities. Whether you want to learn new skills as a line cook or aspire to leadership and management roles, PILF fosters an inclusive environment where hard work and talent are recognized and rewarded.

The role of Line Cook at PILF Restaurant Group is essential and deeply acknowledged. As the backbone of their kitchens, line cooks are responsible for transforming high-quality ingredients into delicious dishes that keep guests coming back. This position requires a balance of speed, hygiene, precision, and teamwork. The work is fast-paced and high-volume, with an emphasis on maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation of menu items across all restaurant concepts.

Line Cooks at PILF will prepare and cook food according to set recipes and standards to ensure every dish meets the brand’s quality expectations. You will work efficiently during high-volume service hours, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to detail. Additionally, you will be expected to set up and break down your station properly each shift, uphold rigorous food safety and sanitation standards, and communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

A passion for food and an ability to perform well in a team environment is crucial. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a willingness to step into any role to support the team, and the stamina to stand for long periods and manage kitchen equipment safely. While prior experience as a line cook or in a kitchen setting is preferred, PILF is committed to training the right candidates who demonstrate eagerness, responsibility, and a knack for cooking.

Working at PILF means more than just a paycheck; it’s about being part of a supportive culture, enjoying flexible scheduling, and taking advantage of opportunities such as free shift meals and career growth into lead cook, trainer, or management positions. If you are passionate about working in a high-energy kitchen where your efforts directly contribute to memorable guest experiences and the success of an innovative restaurant group, PILF Restaurant Group offers an exceptional place for your culinary ambitions to thrive.
