The current opportunity is for a Prep/Line Cook position with a rate of pay at $18.00 per hour. This role is integral to the daily operations of the restaurant, responsible for preparing and cooking food in line with company specifications and standards. As a Prep/Line Cook, you will ensure that all food items are produced with the highest quality, adhering to established recipes, plating guidelines, and cook time requirements. The position requires maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times, demonstrating excellent kitchen hygiene and safety practices. It also involves coordinating food orders to ensure timely and efficient delivery to guests, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. The role requires the ability to handle all designated prep or line stations independently under normal conditions. Moreover, the cook must be flexible, willing to cross-train across various kitchen stations including prep, line, and dishwashing, to support team members and meet fluctuating guest demands.
Employees in this role contribute to the overall kitchen efficiency and the smooth service flow by restocking supplies, breaking down stations at shift end, and assisting with general kitchen cleanliness duties such as cleaning grills, flat tops, and storage drawers. Maintaining knowledge of the company’s products and upcoming happenings is also essential to offer informed guest service and team collaboration. Adherence to all company policies, including those outlined in the Staff Member Handbook, is mandatory. This position is ideal for those who are energetic, professional, and passionate about hospitality, looking to be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering fun and exceptional guest experiences. If you have a minimum of six months to one-year experience as a prep or line cook in a busy full-service restaurant environment—and understand the cooking techniques relevant to the position—this role offers an exciting chance to grow in a vibrant and supportive setting.
