The role we are hiring for includes positions such as Line Cook, Wok Cook, Cook, Chef De Partie, or Station Chef. These are hourly roles that can be filled on either a full-time or part-time basis, with pay ranging from $21.50 to $25.50 per hour depending on experience. As a Line Cook or similar position at P.F. Chang's, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to the restaurant's established recipes and standards. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience not required
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's Card
  • Demonstrate love for food and attention to detail with cooking, including knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes
  • Ability to learn and memorize restaurant menu and recipes
  • Knowledge of all chemicals used in the building
  • Strong customer service skills and etiquette
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multitasking
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform bending and reaching motions
  • Minimum age of 18 years

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items to company specifications
  • Plates prepared foods based on chef's guidance
  • Responsible for the setup, operation, break down, and cleaning of all kitchen equipment
  • Assist with washing dishes, sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning and maintaining equipment, sanitizing utensils
  • Uphold restaurant kitchen sanitation and food service safety standards
