Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
- Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to walk or stand 100% of shift
- Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe
- Must adhere to company dress code, maintaining a neat, clean and professional appearance
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
- Must comply with all federal, state, and local laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous kitchen experience at a hotel or restaurant preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members
- Self-motivated and disciplined
- Friendly and able to smile consistently during shifts
- Able to work flexible schedules including days, nights, and weekends
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Basic cooking skills and ability to follow recipes
- Team player with cooperative attitude
Job Duties
- Delivers an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in an ideal environment
- Keeps immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and takes corrective action
- Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Safely operates all equipment
- Uses chemicals properly for safety and cost control
- Ensures products are stored properly at appropriate levels
- Prepares and sells food that meets quality indicators and guest expectations
- Sells food within recommended time frames
- Prepares and cooks food items by recipe and to specification
- Controls costs by following prep sheets to ensure freshness and reduce waste
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas
- Responsible for station maintenance, cleanliness and sanitation
- Cleans kitchen mats, floors, walls and drains
- Empties kitchen trash and maintains trash cans
- Assists other team members as needed
- Maintains favorable working relationships with company team members
- Smiles and remains friendly while working days, nights and/or weekends
- Communicates clearly with other team members
- Maintains neat, clean and professional appearance
