- valid San Bernardino County food handler's card
- ServSafe preferred

- ability to perform high quality, detailed work
- excellent people service skills
- ability to work varied shifts including weekends and nights
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs daily

- comfortable and confident in high stress situations
Job Duties
- Assist in ensuring kitchen equipment is maintained and used according to departmental health and safety standards
- assist in ensuring kitchens operate within San Bernardino County Health Department codes and guidelines
- assist the Banquet Chef in requisitioning food items from the Commissary as needed
- actively support and participate in spiritual life activities
- work in assigned kitchen areas as directed
- perform other duties as assigned
