Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • must be able to stand for long periods
  • must be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
  • must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • regular and consistent attendance is required
  • must be able to work well with team members managers and guests

Job Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of proper food handling procedures including blanching sauteing and standard breading
  • intermediate knife skills
  • basic kitchen operations experience
  • experience cooking in a high level fast paced kitchen
  • ability to read and understand recipes
  • ability to communicate effectively with other cooks
  • knowledge and understanding of basic math
  • ability to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and company goals

Job Duties

  • Prepare food tasks as assigned by sous chefs including vegetable preparation vinaigrettes salads stocks meat fabrication and sauce making
  • clean work area and kitchen during and at the end of shift
  • play a central role in the production of finished dishes during service periods
  • assist with receiving deliveries to the kitchen
  • take direction and follow recipes
  • work in a supervised environment
  • work at a steady pace with service orientation and quicken pace as required
