Job Requirements

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma
  • minimum of 3 years related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • capacity to lift, move, push, or carry objects up to 25 pounds
  • ability to follow safety policies and procedures
  • strong communication skills
  • willingness to support team and guest service needs

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or replace products as needed
  • regulate oven, grill, and roaster temperatures
  • remove food from freezer to thaw in refrigerator
  • ensure proper portioning, distribution, and garnishing of food
  • maintain food records
  • monitor food quality and quantity
  • communicate staffing needs during busy periods
  • report excess food to the chef for daily specials
  • inform food and beverage staff about rejected products and special dishes
  • ensure food quality according to recipes and standards
  • prepare cold dishes
  • assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, discipline, motivation, and training of employees
  • comply with all safety and company policies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • participate in safety training and obtain certifications
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • anticipate and respond to guest service needs
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • foster positive work relationships and teamwork
  • stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • stretch, bend, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
