Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year experience working as a cook in a high-volume kitchen
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods
  • Availability to work holidays and weekends
  • Ability to work full-time shifts
  • No late night availability

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals with fresh seasonal ingredients according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food items are cooked and presented to the Gold Standard
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work area
  • Collaborate with team members to meet meal service timelines
  • Educate residents and staff about healthy food options
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in inventory control and stock management
