Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Must have a valid health card or equivalent
  • Ability to perform simple math calculations and understand units and measures
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift, stoop, and bend
  • Exhibit hand coordination and dexterity for rapid production

Job Duties

  • Follow all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Line Cook Training Manual
  • Maintain positive attendance record by reporting to work 10 minutes prior to scheduled shifts
  • Follow all sanitation and safety standards and maintain 90 percent or better on audits
  • Meet uniform, appearance, and grooming standards
  • Maintain guest service philosophy and keep customer complaint ratio below 1 per 100 customers
  • Know all menu items and be able to explain specials and ingredients
  • Determine par levels for daily needs and prepare prep list with minimal waste
  • Communicate orders accurately to station cooks
  • Prepare and verify all menu items according to quality standards
  • Communicate with expediter/server promptly when orders are ready
  • Follow receiving and storage processes accurately
  • Complete meals for assigned tables within one hour
  • Perform side work as specified
  • Follow end-of-shift checkout procedures with 100 percent accuracy
  • Assist teammates with their stations and side work when needed
