Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience as line cook or similar in high volume upscale restaurant preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Team-oriented mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Experience executing menu items from start to finish including preparation, butchery, cooking, and plating
  • Ability to participate in new menu item preparation and development
  • Willingness to hone skills and learn new cooking techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively with back of house and front of house teams
  • Experience maintaining cleanliness in back of house areas
  • Ability to participate in deep cleaning
  • Ability to support team members and contribute to a positive workplace environment
  • Preferred 2+ years experience as line cook or similar role in high volume upscale restaurant
  • Proven ability to successfully work each station
  • Ability to train new line cooks
  • Demonstrated dependability and focus on continuous learning

Job Duties

  • Execute menu items from start to finish including preparation, butchery, cooking, and plating
  • Participate in the preparation and development of new menu items
  • Hone existing skills while learning new techniques
  • Work collaboratively with back of house and front of house staff
  • Maintain cleanliness of back of house work areas including refrigeration and cooking equipment
  • Participate in deep cleaning of back of house work areas
  • Support other team members and foster a positive work environment
