Job Requirements

Must pass required training courses and assessments
Must prepare food items to order within specified time limits
Must communicate order status and product availability
Must wash and clean raw food products
Must properly use fryers and complete timed cycles
Must rotate product using "First In, First Out" method
Must log and discard expired products
Must maintain par stock levels and minimize waste
Must clean work area and equipment
Must maintain food production and safety standards
Must assist in training staff
Must be flexible with schedule and fill in as needed
Must maintain high personal cleanliness
Must be a team player
Must obtain or have Food Handlers Certification
Must follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
Must have 1-2 years experience in a similar role
Must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

Food handlers certification or willingness to obtain
1-2 years experience in a similar position
Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
Strong communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Flexibility in schedule
Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs
Commitment to high personal cleanliness and professionalism

Job Duties

Prepare meals quickly, efficiently, and accurately per Hawkers Asian Street Food standards
Communicate with team members and leadership regarding order status and product availability
Wash and clean raw food products
Use the entire timed cycle on fryers and maintain proper fryer operation
Follow "First In, First Out" product rotation to maintain shelf-life standards
Log and discard products not used by end of shift
Maintain proper par stock levels and minimize waste
Perform routine tasks as directed by leadership
Clean work area, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
Dispose of food waste properly
Maintain standards for food production, handling, cooking, sanitation, and safety
Assist in training new and part-time personnel
Maintain high level of personal cleanliness
Be a team player and assist fellow members
Show schedule flexibility and fill in as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Obtain and follow Food Handlers Certification and OSHA/HACCP standards
