Job Requirements

Must take and pass all required training courses and assessments
prepares all food items to order following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits
communicates with team members and leadership regarding order status and product availability
washes and cleans raw food products
always uses entire timed cycle on fryers
proper maintenance, filtering, and usage of fryers
understand and follow QR's and Jolt system processes
rotates product according to First In, First Out to maintain shelf-life standards
logs and discards all products not used by end of shift on use by date
keep par stocks at proper levels
increase or decrease production as necessary
performs routine tasks under leadership direction
clean work area, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
ensure proper disposal of food waste
maintain standards for food production and handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation, and safety
assist in training new and part-time personnel
clean food preparation and production areas as required
show flexibility in schedule and fill in as needed
maintain high level of personal cleanliness
be a team player
use or obtain Food Handlers Certification
understand OSHA and HACCP standards
1-2 years experience
must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

Prepare meals quickly, efficiently, and accurately as per Hawkers Asian Street Food standards
take and pass all required training courses and assessments
communicate with team members and leadership regarding order status and product availability
wash and clean raw food products
use the entire timed cycle on fryers
maintain, filter, and properly use fryers
follow QR's and Jolt system processes
rotate products according to First In, First Out to maintain shelf-life standards
log and discard unused products by the end of the shift
keep par stocks at proper levels and adjust production to minimize waste
perform routine tasks under leadership direction
clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
ensure proper disposal of food waste
maintain food production, handling, cooking, sanitation, and safety standards
assist in training new and part-time personnel
show schedule flexibility and fill in as needed
maintain a high level of personal cleanliness
collaborate as a team player
perform other duties as assigned
