Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to follow kitchen safety protocols
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Must pass a background check if required
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience as a line cook or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control standards
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment
- Assume full responsibility for quality of products served
- Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies
- Stock and maintain sufficient food levels at line stations
- Portion food products prior to cooking according to specifications
- Maintain clean and sanitary work stations and equipment
- Prepare items by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning or marinating
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnishing
- Handle, store and rotate products properly
- Assist in food preparation during off-peak periods
- Close the kitchen and follow closing checklists
- Assist others in kitchen closing
- Attend employee meetings and contribute improvement suggestions
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
