Job Requirements

Must take and pass required training courses and assessments
Prepare all food items to order following standard recipes and procedures
Communicate with team members and leadership about orders and product availability
Wash and clean raw food products
Use entire timed cycle on fryers
Properly maintain, filter, and use fryers
Understand and follow QR and Jolt system processes
Rotate product according to first in, first out to maintain shelf-life standards
Log and discard unused products by end of shift
Keep par stocks at proper levels and adjust production to minimize waste
Perform routine tasks under leadership direction
Clean work area, equipment, utensils, dishes, and ensure proper disposal of food waste
Maintain standards for food production, handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation, and safety
Assist in training new and part-time personnel
Show schedule flexibility and fill in as needed
Maintain high personal cleanliness
Be a team player and help fellow members
Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification
Understand and follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards
1-2 years experience in a like or similar position
Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

Prepare meals quickly, efficiently, and accurately according to Hawkers Asian Street Food standards
Take and pass all required training courses and assessments as well as continuous training
Communicate with team members and leadership regarding the status of orders and product availability
Wash and clean raw food products
Use the entire timed cycle on fryers and properly maintain, filter, and use fryers
Follow QR's and Jolt system processes
Rotate product following the 'First In, First Out' method to maintain shelf-life standards
Log and discard products not used by the end of the shift on the 'use by' date
Keep par stock levels proper and adjust production to minimize waste
Perform routine tasks under leadership direction
Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and ensure proper disposal of food waste
Maintain food production, handling, cooking, sanitation, and safety standards
Assist in training new and part-time personnel
Show schedule flexibility and fill in as needed
Maintain high personal cleanliness
