Job Requirements
- Three or more years of experience in hospitality food preparation
- Ability to obtain a Kansas City Food Handler permit
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of menu and food products
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive movements
- Ability to bend or stoop repeatedly
- Ability to lift and carry 20-50 lbs over short distances
Job Qualifications
- Three or more years of experience in hospitality food preparation is preferred
- Ability to obtain a Kansas City Food Handler permit
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of menu and all food products
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to make continuous and repetitive arm-hand movements such as slicing or chopping food
- Ability to bend or stoop repeatedly during the shift
- Ability to lift and carry between 20-50 lbs over short distances
Job Duties
- Stocking and maintaining designated station(s)
- Preparing food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen visually
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Preparing requisitions for food and supplies as needed
