Job Duties
- Complete daily prep responsibilities and set line for service
- prepare all hot food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications
- check food quality upon arrival and report damaged products
- properly label, date, and store food items
- maintain a safe and sanitary work area
- uphold high standards of timely food preparation while multitasking
- follow standard recipes and presentations to meet food costs and ensure product consistency
- continuously seek to increase productivity
- handle food with proper cooking and cooling procedures
- utilize safe and proper knife skills
- order food requisitions in collaboration with the Sous Chef
- accommodate food server's requests regarding guest preferences
- maintain full communication with supervisors
- perform additional tasks as assigned by the Sous Chef
