Job Requirements
- minimum five years culinary industry experience
- valid State Food Handler's License
- ability to cook proteins to predetermined temperatures
- strong knife skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- five plus years industry experience
- possess necessary State Food Handler's License(s)
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- working knowledge of all mother and minor sauces
- working knowledge of proper butchering techniques
- knowledge of specialized equipment including slicer, Robo-coup, Hobart, convection ovens
- possess knife skills and ability to adjust preparations for flavor and customer needs
Job Duties
- prepare new menu items
- meet daily preparation requirements
- provide guidance to line cooks
- conduct inventory checks
- ensure sanitary and well-maintained food preparation areas
- ensure safe food handling
- execute opening and closing kitchen procedures
- accommodate customer needs in a timely manner
