Job Requirements

  • minimum five years culinary industry experience
  • valid State Food Handler's License
  • ability to cook proteins to predetermined temperatures
  • strong knife skills
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • five plus years industry experience
  • possess necessary State Food Handler's License(s)
  • ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • working knowledge of all mother and minor sauces
  • working knowledge of proper butchering techniques
  • knowledge of specialized equipment including slicer, Robo-coup, Hobart, convection ovens
  • possess knife skills and ability to adjust preparations for flavor and customer needs

Job Duties

  • prepare new menu items
  • meet daily preparation requirements
  • provide guidance to line cooks
  • conduct inventory checks
  • ensure sanitary and well-maintained food preparation areas
  • ensure safe food handling
  • execute opening and closing kitchen procedures
  • accommodate customer needs in a timely manner
