- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Must adhere to safe food handling and cleanliness rules
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is an asset
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with the role
Job Duties
- Prepare food using various methods including cutting, sautéing, broiling, frying, and cooking of meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, soups, salads, and other ingredients
- Adhere to food safety and cleanliness regulations to ensure guest safety
- Maintain organized and clean workstation during and after shifts
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation
- Support team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Participate in training and continuous improvement activities
- Follow all Red Robin standard operating procedures and quality control standards
