Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 3 years of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience required
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • physical ability to reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • commitment to following safety, security, and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
  • at least 3 years of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • physical capability to reach overhead and below knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items
  • regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
  • pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
  • ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
  • maintain food logs
  • monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
  • communicate assistance needed during busy periods
