Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role
- ability to follow directions and work well under pressure
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform kitchen tasks
- willingness to learn and adapt to new stations and responsibilities
Job Qualifications
- previous experience working on a kitchen line
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work various stations
- strong teamwork skills
- basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- good communication skills
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- follow instructions of the chef at all times
- keep station clean and organized in accordance with health codes
- set up stations with all necessary supplies
- prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces
- cook menu items cooperatively with kitchen staff
- clean up station and handle extra food
- stock inventory
- ensure food quality and timely service
- maintain positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
