Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment is recommended
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • ability to follow health and safety procedures
  • availability to work flexible shifts

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen work area
  • follow food safety and sanitation guidelines including ServeSafe standards
  • collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service
  • assist in inventory management and stock rotation
  • support training of new kitchen team members
  • adhere to dietary and special request modifications
